Countdown Owner
The person who creates the countdown. You pick the song list, set the deadline, invite members, and control when the results are revealed. You're the host — it's your show.
How it works
Running your own Hottest 100-style countdown is simpler than you think. Here's how it all comes together.
Sign up and create your first countdown in about 30 seconds. You'll choose from our curated song lists (we've got thousands of tracks across different genres and eras), set your countdown length (top 10, 50, or 100), and pick when voting closes.
Share your unique countdown link with your group. Drop it in the group chat, Discord server, Slack channel, or wherever your crew hangs out. Everyone who joins can participate in the voting.
Everyone explores the song library and builds their personal shortlist. Take your time browsing — there's heaps to choose from. Your shortlist is private until you lock in your final votes.
When you're ready, cast your final votes from your shortlist. Once you've voted, it's locked in — no take-backs. You can see who else has voted (but not what they voted for), so you know who's still dragging their feet.
When the deadline hits, voting closes automatically and results are tallied. Then comes the best part — the reveal. Hit play and watch your group's countdown unfold live. Project it at your party, stream it to your mates, and let the debates begin.
Countdown Party keeps things simple with just two roles.
The person who creates the countdown. You pick the song list, set the deadline, invite members, and control when the results are revealed. You're the host — it's your show.
Everyone who joins via the invite link. Members browse the song list, build their shortlist, and cast their votes. Everyone's vote counts equally.
Create your first countdown in under a minute. It's free to start — no credit card required.
